Originated in Photography, Marten offers beauty-, transportation- and editorial photography. Over the years he developed digital retouch and composing as a steady element in his works. Due to his knowledge about CGI and 3D he is in charge of TheLooopCGI since it was founded in 2007. Since Marten moved to Shanghai in 2003 he is also working as an Executive Producer for foreign Photo Productions that are being shot in China. Nationality German. Education Marten worked as a freelance assistant for different photographers all over the world in miscellaneous fields of photography like fashion, beauty, architecture, car, landscape, still live and lifestyle. Working Experience During his first job as a paramedic Marten learned about life and dead as well as the boundaries of the human body. A lot of these experiences influenced his first years of working as a photographer. Marten’s basic fields of interests were people and fashion photography. His first freelance working years Marten spent in Hamburg and Berlin (Germany) and later also in Milano (Italy). His basic working field became the fashion magazines in Europe. 2003 Marten moved to Shanghai to generate a new exploration field for his life. Here he mainly focused on car advertising and the development of The Looop Shanghai's Rep department and CGI department. Beside this Marten still loves shooting people for Beauty-products focusing on model close-up’s for mainly cosmetic clients.
